<description>I was in a group of 5 adults, camping and we all saw four strange lights. Coming from the direction of Rendlesham, then near Farnham, the lights faded out, and then about 10 mins later a single light appeared near Saxmundham near Ipswich and went west in the direction of Sizewell.

Date: Saturday 26th July 2008
Colour: Orange lights
Formation: not really but seemed to be moving to Y shape.
Noise: None
Height: Guessed at 5000 - 10000 metres

I&#039;m not saying aliens but UFO for unidentified.

If they were lanterns which is possible then I wonder how they started off far apart and seemed to head to a formation. Unless, with assisted remote control but that&#039;s very high for a normal transmitter.

I only found out about Rendlesham when i went to the beach the next day and mentioned the event to some parents who lived nearby and they said there had been previous incidents.

Well, in my mind, there are two options: either it was some cool RC hoax or the UFOs were scoping out the MoD. I bet the Y shape makes a good sub-terra geo scan. I&#039;d go even further to speculate that there&#039;s an anti-sat nearby. I think it&#039;s strange the lights were linked to the ones in Shropshire almost a year ago!

Similar stories i&#039;ve just found on the web but appear to be of different locations and dates:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-470579/UFO-sightings-bring-town-standstill.html

Thought it was better to report this than just have it as a memory.
